Dear Juniper Community,

We hope this message finds you well. It is hard to believe another year is drawing to a close. It's been a while since we last connected, and we’d love to share an update.

As you know, for nearly 25 years, Juniper has been dedicated not just to creating a meditation school but to offering a rigorous path for modern yogic transformation. Through the Indo-Tibetan Vajrayana tradition and the guidance of Segyu Choepel Rinpoche, we have laid the foundation for practitioners to rise above life's distractions and superficialities, discover a new dimension of life, and truly experience it.

Our vision continues to blossom—many of you now practice and help care for our temple, which has become a spiritual home for our community. Our weekly healing practice continues to support those facing hardship and those who have passed on. At the same time, active groups in the US, France, Brazil, and Uruguay have formed vibrant communities practicing our tradition. This year, our activities included weekly distant-healing meditations, four retreats on higher yoga practices, psycho-spiritual healing teachings, and bi-weekly meditations.

In these early years, we kept Juniper small and focused, prioritizing depth over breadth as we built our lineage and refined our approach. Though our numbers are modest, our influence reaches far beyond what our size might suggest. When Tibetan Buddhist masters from around the world visit Juniper, they are continually amazed by the strength and quality of our work.

Reflecting on this period, we are proud of the legacy we are creating—a living lineage that will guide and train others for generations to come.

To preserve Juniper’s legacy, we must begin a transition that allows more community members to participate in sustaining Juniper. This involves maintaining and safeguarding our teachings and ensuring Juniper’s financial stability.

So far, our co-founders and a few others who deeply understand Juniper’s vision have shouldered the financial burden of supporting the organization. Unfortunately, with the recent passing of two major supporters, we need to expand our base of support so that those who value, participate in, and benefit from Juniper can also share in its financial health. Currently, membership dues cover less than twenty percent of our operating costs. This year, after contributions from major donors, we face a budget shortfall of $60,000—still less than thirty percent of our annual operating budget.

We are therefore asking for donations to help cover this shortfall. All contributions will directly support Segyu Rinpoche's work and living expenses, the management and upkeep of our temple, and training programs and healing activities worldwide. Your support will make a meaningful difference.

Please consider contributing at one of these levels:

     - Compassion Circle: $100-499

     - Teaching Sustainers: $500-999

     - Temple Benefactors: $1,000–4,999

     - Vajrayana Benefactors: $5,000+

We would appreciate all contributions at your earliest convenience, and no later than December 31, 2025, so we can finalize our 2026 budget. Donations can be made online here or by mailing a check to Juniper Foundation, 5515 Felter Road, San Jose, CA 95132. Juniper is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Thank you for being part of our shared vision to create a profound movement that benefits humanity today and in the future. We look forward to continuing our journey with you and sharing more about upcoming plans and activities.

With kind wishes,

The Juniper Team
